Overview..........
The Wow Pinoy Badminton Club in the United Arab Emirates is a Filipino sports organization which was created in June 2006 through the collective efforts of the Filipino Expatriates and enthusiasts.
The organization operates under the thrust of Unity and Service and focuses its activities particularly in the field of sports.

The motto of the group: ’Good Health Makes A Peaceful Mind’, emphasizes the program of the entire organization which aims to promote individual participation in social, mental, cultural, moral and physical developments as laid out the vision and mission of the organization.

Sport is the catalytic converter of the negative purpose. It is an instrument of achievement that, at the highest level, unifies the mind, purposes and spirit of nations and levels the playing field between abject penury and extreme wealth. This is the objective behind the creation of "Wow Pinoy Badminton Club - U.A.E."

Hi Dons01, Many thanks for the tips. I will definitely look it up. My husband got the arcsaber racquet when he was travelling to Hong Kong but didn't get the chance to have it strung. Hopefully they will be able to strung it in these 3 places. Cheers.

this is for ben, i thinkit will be very difficult to find a good yonex racket here in Dubai specially the new ArcSaber my friend got it online and it have been couriered to him. Stringing the racket wont be a problem here, there are a couple of places like in Galaxy Sports and Yonex in karama, Sun and Sands etc

Finally...our long wait for friday badminton is over. It's nice to see our friends and oher players smashing their way to the court. We really missed it a lot. And one thing special about that friday... we were able to play with Ms. Daisy Reyes. I also thank out dear president....kuya Edwin for posting all the pictures for the events attended by no less than the WOWPinoy members. I like your Nike Yellow Shirt with the WowPinoy Logo at the back....I'm curious though....pwede po ba kami magkaroon nun kuya Edwin? Sana....heheheh

Please be inform that we dont have a WEEKLY GAME schedule for 3 FRIDAYS consecutives.
To mention the date...June 6, June 13 & June 20, 2008
This is due to that the COURT will be use by the Management of Al Safa School for Boys Gymnasium...
As per advise by Mr. Hani.....Al Safa Gym Administrator!

With this our WEEKLY GAME schedule will be resume by June 27, 2008....
Please be guided accordingly!

I definitely agree with you Mr. Francis. It has been very long since we played badminton. Grabeeeh po talaga, sobrang na-miss namin ang paghataw ng mga racquets namin. Anyway...just 2 days to go nalang....let's play badminton!!!! Aja!!
